My new Circle Top has a folded neckline with sewn circles in a fuzzy black yarn. I've also sewn a few circles on the front. This style is fitted across the bust and looser towards the hem. The sleeve is long and loose with a deep hem. I dyed two muted fall colors: spruce green (a greyed green with strong blue undertone--see the closeup shot for the closest color) and a soft mulberry. This is a understated top with elegant lines that would work well with fluid wide pants or a fitted skirt. Both colors pair well with a wide range of neutrals.
The organic soy/cotton blend is a beautiful knit from a small Californian company that makes limited edition fabrics. I shrank the knit so it has a good heft to the weight and because of the soy it feels warm to the touch. Then I hand dyed the fabric using fiber reactive dyes. The color will not fade.
The medium measures 23" from shoulder to hem.
The size chart here is just a guide as the various styles will fit a range of sizes according to how fitted or loose they are.
The bust measurement is the most reliable constant as usually that is where clothes are most fitted.
Knit clothing stretches and drapes to varying degrees so that will also affect the sizing of each style.
